Native Plant Trust
Native Plant Trust is the nation’s first plant conservation organization, and the only group solely focused on New England’s native plants. This group of internationally recognized leaders and experts needed a brand strategy that aligned with their ambitious mission.
We pulled our design inspiration from the land that Native Plant Trust champions and protects every day. The logotype is conceived as part of a system with images, videos, and language working in visual harmony, just as plants might grow together.
If you don’t know Native Plant Trust, you may know some of its signature offerings, such as Nasami Farms, Garden in the Woods, or Go Botany. We established a design system for various sub-brands that eliminates brand confusion and continues to build equity in the parent brand.
The new brand was expressed across print materials, swag, signage, digital comms, and more. The brand pulls from a rich visual system that includes a library of pen and ink illustrations, commissioned photography, scientific images, an artful selection of typography, and a color palette inspired by the New England landscape.
